Abstract

Hypersensitivity of teeth (hypersensitivity of tooth tissues to mechanical, chemical and temperature stimuli) is an extremely common phenomenon, as it accompanies many dental diseases. It is characterized by an acute painful reaction of the dentine tubules to thermal, chemical and tactile effects. According to numerous sources, the prevalence of dentine hypersensitivity of various etiologies in the population of Uzbekistan varies from 40 to 70%. One of the most pressing problems of modern dentistry is the increased sensitivity of the hard tissues of the teeth – dental hypersensitivity, a common pathological condition. It is characterized by an acute painful reaction of the dentine tubules to thermal, chemical and tactile effects. For a long time, domestic and foreign authors conducted research, thanks to which the causes of the development of this pathology became clear, as well as ways to eliminate it were developed.
